Some covers are a hassle when you need to haul taller or bulky items, but this one rolls up neatly behind the cab so the whole bed stays open. The TruXedo TruXport rolls up with its rear header and crossmembers attached, and built-in security straps hold it in place while you drive. When you’re ready to cover the bed again, it unrolls and latches in seconds for a secure fit that works with your locking tailgate.
You don’t need tools or complicated hardware to get this cover installed. The TruXport uses clamps—three per side—to secure the rails on top of the bed walls. Once the front and rear headers are in place, the Velcro strips along the rails seal the cover and weather seals on all sides help keep out dust, rain, and snow. Setup takes just minutes, and everything stays tight and aligned.
Covers can loosen over time or shift with temperature changes, but this one automatically sets and maintains proper tension. The dual-latching mechanism includes a pre-set tension control that locks in the right stretch every time the rear header snaps into place. You don’t have to make manual adjustments, and it stays tight in any climate.
The TruXport gives the truck bed a clean, finished look without bulky arches or raised bows. The rails sit only about 1-1/2" above the bed rails, blending smoothly from cab to tailgate. The black vinyl grain finish keeps the look simple and sharp while also adding an aerodynamic shape that can improve gas mileage by up to 10 percent.
Rain, snow, and road grime are no match for the TruXport’s durable vinyl grain cover. The material is designed to resist stretching and shrinking, while the integrated seals help block out the elements. When closed and latched, it forms a secure cargo area that can’t be accessed without first opening the tailgate. It’s a straightforward way to protect whatever you’re carrying year-round.
